July 2005 METROiba newsletter

This is Independents Week, one of the AMIBA national marketing campaigns. Being one of the newer IBAs in the country, we are doing a grass root, no budget campaign that includes your participation.
(see release for info)

The challenge: Every member of METROiba, sign up one new METROiba member between July 1-7.

Independents Week Challenge

In honor of Independents Week, Metro IBA is asking / challenging each current member to recruit one new member. Let's see some real fireworks by doubling our membership by July 4th! Aid your efforts by printing out MetroIBA promotional material. We've already signed up a slate of new members in the last two weeks (we just haven't had a chance to get them on the site yet!).

Comment on this article or e-mail the Board of Directors to let us know when you've completed the challenge.

Also, Red Balloon Books is having a number of events during Independents week: check them out.

Update - Logo and Website (Thanks Jesse and Ken!)

Hearty Thank You to Jesse Mortenson and Ken Friberg, our Metro IBA in-kind members.

Jesse Mortenson is our website guru who built , hosts and maintains our website and is now working on a redesign. His services are invaluable and save our organization lots of money.

Ken Friberg designed our logos, with the new, officially adopted one debuting at the June 23rd breakfast meeting. He also designed our brochure and assists with other design/graphic services. Again, terrific service at an unbeatable price.
