Light Therapy Products was started in 1994 as on online resource selling light boxes to treat Seasonal Depression.  "I bought the company in 2004 as a way to rejoin the work force after being at home for 13 years, and I have been excited to help people, make some money, and be my own boss," says Sarah Hamel, owner.  

Since that time, their product line has grown to include:

Light boxes, office lighting, sunrise alarm clocks, salt rock lamps, skin lights for rejuvenation, acne treatment and pain relief, skin care products, UVB free tanning lights, items to relieve jet lag, full spectrum compact fluorescent bulbs, full spectrum incandescent bulbs, aromatherapy and relaxation aids,  and products to promote better sleep.
